Perhaps Donald J. Trump, who became the 45th President of the United States at noon today, is the epitome of a government for, by, and of the people. That phrase, minted by the nation’s 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, takes on a new meaning today, as a man fresh into the fray of Washington politics takes the oath for the land’s highest office.
The start of the 2016-17 academic school year saw Chaminade students trade in pencils and notebooks for styli and iPads as they took the leap into a new, digital chapter of their high school careers. This transition kept with Chaminade High School’s tradition of advancing its mission of educating young, Catholic men by providing a new and unique way of teaching classroom concepts in an increasingly digital world.
Chaminade’s Advancing the Mission movement has swept the school with change over the last several years, revolutionizing many areas of the Chaminade experience. Upon the S.T.E.M. building’s opening, scheduled for late November, 2017, students will be exposed to the state-of-the-art technology and outstanding learning opportunities.
