As winter comes to an end, Chaminade closes out another successful athletic season.  On February 28th, Chaminade honored the dedicated student-athletes with pins following the homeroom period.  The praise did not end there, as these athletes were invited to attend the Winter Sports Awards Night. Donning their unique sports pins, the athletes, along with families and friends, sat in Darby Auditorium to congratulate all of the teams on their hard work throughout the season.

The night began with a presentation from Element Films of the E.T.V. club.  The film featured many Chaminade athletes from a variety of sports. The Winter Sports Awards Night recognizes the time and effort that the Flyers put in everyday at practice.  Championships are not participation medals; they are earned with hours of conditioning and repetitive practice.  The awards highlight this effort and thank the Flyers for their contributions to a long tradition of Chaminade’s athletic success.
