In honor of All Saints Day on Thursday, November 1, there will be no classes. Athletes who are practicing on Thursday will attend Mass at 9am in Hearst Auditorium, but all students are welcome to attend as well.
Senior Blood Drive
Senior members of the National Honor Society will have the chance to donate blood next Friday. As the region is in short supply of blood right now, the donations will greatly assist those in need. The New York Blood Center will organize the event.
First Step Towards Chaminade
Tomorrow, Saturday, October 27th, prospective attendees of the Chaminade Class of 2023 will take the Catholic High School Entrance Exam. The exam takes place from 8:15 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.

Sophomore Spirit Day
Last Friday, sophomore homerooms competed against each other in various games during the annual Sophomore Spirit Day. The day included competitive matches of European handball, dodgeball, and Ultimate Frisbee, as well as a faith talk from Mr. Christopher Lynch ‘82. After earning the most points in the day’s activities, Homeroom 2G emerged victorious.
Freshman Spirituality Assembly
In conjunction with the ADORE freshman homeroom retreats that are taking place each week, Freshmen continued to develop their faith by learning about the importance of communication with God during a presentation from Mr. Michael Foley ‘99 and others this past Thursday.
Row, Row, Row Your Boat!
Last weekend, the crew team traveled to Boston, Massachusetts to compete in the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta. Despite the tough competition, the team was able to clinch 36th place in a fleet of 85 boat. This weekend, the team will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
